Are you passionate about working with children? And love to make a difference of the lives of others?
Teaching Personnel are working alongside a SEND provison based in Northumberland (NE61). You will be working alongside pupils with ages 2-19 with SEMH/SEN, assiting them through lessons and preparing them for a smooth transition.
The school has a tradition of being a caring and friendly environment for children; this ethos stems from the high calibre and commitment of staff and governors where we encourage all children to be enthusiastic and committed learners who aim to develop their confidence, capacity to learn and work independently and collaboratively.
Children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities all have learning difficulties or disabilities that make it harder for them to learn than most children and young people of the same age. These children and young people may need extra or different help from that given to others.
Many children and young people will have SEN of some kind at some time during their education. Early years providers (for example, nurseries or childminders), mainstream schools, colleges and other organisations can help most children and young people succeed with some changes to their practice or additional support, but some children and young people will need extra help for some or all of their time in education and training
You will be working Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 3:30 with a 30 minute break.
