SEN Primary Teacher

We are working with an Outstanding special school in Muswell Hill who are looking for new teachers to join their staff. This is a non-maintained special school so recieve independent funding, meaning their students and staff have access to state of the art learning supplies, opportunities for school trips and extensive training and continuous professional development opportunities for staff.

The school currently have 94 students with 140 staff, meaning bothstaff and students have high levels of support bothin and out of the classroom, with a collaborative and nurtining school environment. Approximately 3/4 of students in this class are non-verbal so experience having worked with non-verbal children is desireable, however all students do have access to IPAD's and Tablets with speech and language tools to help with communication.

This position is for a Primary Teacher working with children 6-7years old with a diagnosis of Autism with varying levels of speech and language difficulties. They are open to both FTC and permanent contract roles so whether you are looking for a permanent or interim position please do apply as we can accomodate both.

Necessary criteria:

-Must have QTS

-Must have experience working in an SEN school

-Must be available full-time

-Have experience teaching Primary ages
