Learning Support Assistants (Temp to Perm)

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a mainstream secondary school in the Wirral area to recruit multiple Learning Support Assistants as soon as possible. These exciting roles are offered on a temp to perm basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position based on performance.
About the Role:
- Support students aged 11–16 with additional learning needs (ALN), including SEN and SEMH.
- Work closely with teaching staff to ensure inclusive classroom practice.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support, both in and out of the classroom.
- Monitor student progress and contribute to reports and reviews.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or a relevant qualification (e.g., Psychology degree).
- A genuine interest in supporting children with learning and emotional needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
