Are you an aspiring graduate looking for routes into teaching and kick starting your career in education?

A 'GOOD' school in Manchester (M11) are actively seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated and hard-working KS1 team. You will work with identified pupils with EBD (emotional behavioural disorder) on both a 1:1 basis and with small groups and will contribute towards creating a purposeful learning environment by supporting classroom teachers in teaching and learning.

The ideal candidate will have some experience of working with SEN and will have outstanding inter-personal skills. To be considered you be patient and sensitive with the ability to encourage and motivate children as well as being able to work effectively in a team. Experience of working with EBD would be advantageous.

The ideal candidate will,

- Be a recent graduate looking to begin a career in education

- Have recent experience working with children

- Be enthusiastic about inspiring young learners

In return, the school can offer the right candidate the opportunity to begin their career in education in an 'GOOD’ school. This post will start after February Half Term and will run until the end of the academic year. The opportunity for a school based contract could be possible for the right candidate.
