Teaching Personnel are working with an SEN school based in the NG9 area of Nottingham. The school is an all age area special school for 107 pupils aged 3
19 who exhibit a wide range of learning difficulties and disabilities. The school in question is a ‘Good’ school as judged by Ofsted in May 2013 with a rigorous and ambitious plan to move to Outstanding at our next inspection.
You will be joining a highly skilled team of professionals who are wholly committed to achieving the very best outcomes for all our students. We are looking for individuals with a genuine passion for working with students who have a range of special educational needs especially those with needs that are more complex. Applicants should have the belief in the potential of every child to make outstanding progress and be capable of balancing the challenge and support provided to every student to ensure this happens.
The school are looking for a teacher with SEN experience to take on the 3 day a week role. You would be working in a class of 8 pupils, year groups ranging from 2 – 6. The pupils are working low to mid P levels and have a variety of learning needs. Two/three support staff are allocated to the group. The cover would be for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week and PPA would be scheduled.
