1:1 Support Specialist

Position: 1:1 Support Specialist
Location: (BB4 Rossendale)
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday
Start Date: May 2024
Pay rate: £12.90 - £14 per hour (AWR will come into effect after 12 working weeks)

The school are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Support Specialist to work closely with a pupil with SEMH needs, providing tailored assistance and ensuring their academic and personal growth.
Responsibilities: As a 1:1 Support Specialist, you will:
- Build a strong rapport with the pupil and create a safe and nurturing environment.
- Provide individualised support and guidance to help the student manage their SEMH needs effectively.
- Collaborate with the classroom teacher and other professionals to develop and implement personalized learning strategies.
- Assist with academic tasks, ensuring the student's educational goals are met.
- Support with personal care,
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children with additional needs.
- Level 2 qualification or above.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
