Creative teacher needed in South Norwood

  • 5 mornings or full days a week starting after half term
  • Working both 121 and I the main classroom
  • Creative & flexible teacher needed!

A fantastic organisation that manages education for children waiting for a school place is needing a female Teacher to work with a Yr 7 girl with Autism functioning at Primary level. The pupils has very low social skills and independence levels so you would need to be able to teach creatively to develop these skills and have an understanding of Autism/Aspergers or experience therein.

The pupil is being educated on a 2:1 basis from a Youth Centre in Havering (East London) so you will have the assistance of a TA. The position is for 5 mornings a week & the organisation may be able to arrange for another pupil in the afternoons to make it a full time placement. Fantastic organisation to work for! Looking for creative & flexible candidates. Everyone we have working for them has ended up staying on for several years as they really love the setup! Would need to be available for phone interview asap.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
