Learning support assistant with SEBD experience

  • EBD support roles available within Trafford.
  • Long-term and temporary to permanent contract on offer.
  • Experience of working with challenging behaviours highly desirable.

A full time opportunity has become available in a larger than average primary school in Trafford. The school is looking to recruit a learning support assistant with extensive experience supporting pupils with barriers to learning, who display challenging behaviour.

Due to an increase in the number of exclusions this academic year, the special needs co-ordinator wants to interview and recruit a behaviour support assistant straight away on a full time and long term basis.

To be considered for this learning support assistant role, you will need to have a teaching assistant qualification or a degree and significant experience working with children. This is a full time post starting straight away if possible and you will need to have suitable experience and references to be considered.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
