Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – SEN Secondary Schools
Location: Dibden
Pay: £13.75 – £14.20 per hour (from 1st April)
Flexible days | Term time only | School hours
Start date: ASAP
We are currently seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work in SEN secondary schools across Dibden. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people with additional learning needs while benefiting from flexible working during school hours and term time.
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SEN staff to support students with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning and develop confidence within the classroom.
Responsibilities may include:

Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in lessons and during school activities

Providing 1:1 or small group support
-
Assisting teachers with classroom activities and behaviour support

Encouraging student engagement, independence, and confidence
-
Supporting students’ emotional and social development

Requirements

Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience is desirable but not essential)

A patient, supportive, and positive attitude

An Enhanced Child Only DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
