Behavior Mentor required full-time to start ASAP in Barnsley

• Role to start ASAP
• £70+ daily rate, additional training provided
• Expanding SEN department and ambitious SENCO

An outstanding school based in the Barnsley area is seeking to appoint a behavior mentor to join their team on a full-time basis to start in ASAP.

The school has a large SEN department and a newly appointed SENCO, to which they are looking to expand their team immediately to cope with demands from the most challenging pupils.

You will be working with pupils who exhibit angry, aggressive and withdrawn behavior towards members of staff and other pupils. You will be working closely with the Head Teacher and the SENCO, ensuring regular feedback and evaluations are given to help improve the pupil’s behavior and overall performance.

To be considered for this role, you must express the following skill set:

•Experience in a UK primary school (Early Years, KS1 and KS2)

•Experience working with ADHD and ADD students who have demonstrated challenging behavior

•Confident, patient and tolerant

•Excellent communication skills
