SEMH/PRU Teacher
Are you a Teacher experienced working with pupils who are challenging in their behaviours?
Are you flexible and adaptable, with a passion for working with pupils who are often disengaged from education?
Teaching Personnel are looking for hard working Teachers who have a background in working with pupils who have SEMH Difficulties and often display challenging behaviours.
We are looking for a qualified Teacher to join a growing and supportive network of Teachers in Birmingham and the surrounding areas to work in schools that cater specifically for those pupils who can no longer remain in mainstream education. You will be expected to deliver a range of subjects and therefore candidates applying for this role must be flexible and willing to deliver a range of lessons and confident keeping the pupils engaged.
The role will operate between the hours of 8:30-16:00, Monday – Friday and we can offer a competitive rate based on experience.
The ideal applicants will:
- Have a solid grounding when it comes to delivering the national curriculum.
- Can effectively manage behaviour as well as ensuring that pupils adhere to school policy at all times.
- Can keep pupils engaged within the subject.
- Ensure every child is able to fully maximise their ability within the subject.
- Is able to work with students with SEN, as well as those requiring EAL support.
- Team Teach qualification is desirable but not essential
- The candidate must have the right to work in the UK and have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
