Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate Secondary SEMH Teacher to join our partner Trust at their Northenden site. This permanent position is set to commence in September or earlier, depending on the successful candidate's availability. While prior experience working with SEMH students is beneficial, it is not a requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons tailored to SEMH students, with a preference for Maths or Science specialism.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages both academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and support staff to ensure the overall well-being and success of students.
- Conduct regular assessments of student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Contribute actively to the enhancement of the SEMH curriculum by introducing innovative teaching methods and resources.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Preferred experience working with SEMH students.
- A genuine passion for education and a strong commitment to student success.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
