An education provision in Carshalton is looking for a full time Teacher to work with students aged 5-15. The children are currently outside of a mainstream school setting and have various social, emotional and mental health needs. For this reason, you should be comfortable working with primary and secondary aged students and would ideally have experience with SEMH needs in prior roles.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver individualised lessons to aid student progression
  • Deliver a wide range of curriculum to different ages
  • Support students with different issues within the classroom
  • Work alongside other staff to create a cohesive team of support

For this role you should:

  • Have previous school experience
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have some knowledge of SEMH needs and how these may be supported
  • Have English and Maths GCSEs
  • Be available full time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
