SEMH TA required for a primary school in Cambridge

Teaching Personnel are delighted to offer an exciting new role on behalf of a superb school in East Cambridgeshire, rated by Ofsted as "outstanding".

We are looking for a highly motivated and committed teaching assistant with experience in SEMH to join an effective and supportive team to develop pupils learning across key stages. You will have experience dealing with children with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.

All staff will gain positive handling training and team teach training prior to beginning the role.

The successful candidate will have:

• A strong personality with clear expectations for children's behaviour and learning
• The ability to motivate and encourage children
• A good understanding of pupils who can present challenging behaviour
• The ability to display a range of effective approaches to the management of difficult behaviour
• A caring and understanding personality
• Looking to make a difference in young peoples lives
