SEMH Support Worker - Oldham

An SEMH Setting based in Oldham are currently looking to appoint multiple SEMH Support Workers to work within there Provision. These positions are commencing as soon as possible so would be suitable for experienced Support Workers who are looking for an opportunity to pursue a career in education.

The Setting itself is a Primary SEMH School which is part of a Multi-academy Trust which is located in Oldham.The pupils who attend the Setting often show signs of challenging behaviour and can be prone to aggressive outbursts. The Setting are ideally seeking SEMH Workers who have experience working with vulnerable people who can behave in an aggressive manner.

This particular role will involve working with secondary aged pupils supporting them in reaching their full potential. The pupils who attend this Setting do often display signs of challenging behaviour so the successful applicant will require high levels of emotional and physical resilience.

To be considered for the position of an SEMH Worker you should have:

- Experience working in a Specialist Setting (care home, pupil referral unit or SEMH School)

- A qualification related to behaviour or counselling

- A passion for supporting pupils with SEMH needs
