Teaching Personnel are looking for a SEMH support worker to work with a pupil on a 1:1 basis to start as soon as possible on a full time basis. The role is supporting a pupil that has been removed from mainstream education and requires additional support with their learning. The role itself does not just require support with their education but also their social and home life. You will be supporting the pupils on and off site and support the pupil accordingly based upon their timetable.

The ideal candidate must have:

• Experience of working with SEMH
• Minimum of GCSE A-C in Maths and English
• UK driving licence with access to their own vehicle daily

The school have asked that, as well as the above, the ideal candidates must have one of the following:

• 2 x A levels
• NVQ level 3
• CACHE level 3
• BTEC level 3

All candidates working with Teaching Personnel are required to have a DBS in Child work force which is registered on the update service. If you have a current DBS in Child work force on the update service then this will speed up your vetting. If you do not then do not worry as we can support you through the process.
