Teaching Assistant

Full Time

Swanwick

We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work within our small school that caters for young people who have been excluded from mainstream school.

Our school is a very rewarding place to work, however it takes someone who has the resilience and patience to work with young people who can display challenging behaviour.

You role will involve supporting within all core subjects as well as other topics such as PE.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children from keystages 1-4
  • Working alongside teachers and other staff to provide a high level of support for pupils
  • Helping children achieve the best outcomes

We are looking for someone who...

  • Has an outgoing personality
  • Can provide nurturing support for young people who can display challenging behaviour
  • Has experience supporting children who have special educational needs or challenging behaviour in a care or school setting
  • Has a qualification in a childcare topic or or training that is relevant
