We are currently looking for a Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Teacher required in the Lancing area starting ASAP, with the opportunity to move on to a permanent contract.
The school, based in Lancing, are looking for a Teacher to support the needs of students aged 11-16 with ASC and SEMH in a mixed class of up to 6/7 children.
The School is a unique educational provision, provides education to those pupils who have been permanently excluded from school and those who cannot attend their own schools for medical reasons. They also support referrals for pupils at significant risk of permanent exclusion from school.
All pupils attending the school have statements of Special Educational Needs linked with SEMH including specific learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorders, cognitive and complex learning difficulties.
You will ideally have experience working in a PRU/Short Stay School/EBD School although this is not essential, if you are strong and resilient, as the class can be challenging.
