Job description

Job Title: Tutor – Wellingborough

Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire (in-person or school setting)
Job Type: Part-time / Flexible hours
Pay: £25–£30 per hour (depending on experience and subject area)

We’re looking for motivated and reliable Tutors to join our team in the Wellingborough area. Your role will be to deliver engaging one-to-one or small-group lessons, helping students reach their academic potential in subjects such as English, Maths, and Science.

Key Duties:

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet individual student needs.

  • Support learners with confidence building and exam preparation.

  • Provide constructive feedback and progress updates.

  • Maintain accurate records of sessions and outcomes.

About You:

  • Strong subject knowledge (ideally up to GCSE or A-Level).

  • Teaching or tutoring experience preferred but not essential.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Patient, professional, and committed to helping students succeed.

  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
