Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Home or School-Based)
Location: Daventry and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible, during school hours (typically between 8:30am–3:30pm)
Pay: Competitive rates (dependent on experience and qualifications)

About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in the Daventry area. This role involves delivering personalised, one-to-one education in either a pupil’s home or within a school setting, supporting young people who may require additional help or alternative provision outside of mainstream education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons based on individual learning needs
• Support pupils with a range of needs, including SEN, SEMH, or those not currently in mainstream education
• Adapt teaching approaches to suit different abilities and learning styles
• Build positive and trusting relationships to encourage engagement and confidence
• Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress
• Work collaboratively with parents, schools, and other professionals

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or support roles)
• Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Ability to plan and deliver flexible, creative lessons
• Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
• Relevant qualifications (teaching, tutoring, or degree-level education preferred but not essential)
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
