Job Title: 1:1 Tutor – Home & School Setting
Location: Northampton
Hours: During School Hours
Pay: Competitive Rates (Depending on Experience)

We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced 1:1 Tutors to support pupils across the Northampton area. Tuition sessions will take place either in pupils’ homes or within school settings during school hours.

This is a rewarding opportunity for passionate education professionals who are committed to helping students build confidence, improve academic performance, and achieve their learning goals through personalised support.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality 1:1 tuition sessions tailored to individual pupil needs
• Support pupils with academic learning, engagement, and confidence-building
• Adapt lesson delivery to suit different learning styles and abilities
• Track and provide feedback on pupil progress when required
• Maintain a safe, positive, and professional learning environment

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience
• Experience working with children or young people
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to deliver engaging and personalised learning sessions
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Right to work in the UK
• Relevant teaching or tutoring qualifications are desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
