1:1 Tutor – Daventry Area

Location: Daventry and surrounding areas
Job Type: Part-time / Flexible / Term-time
Hours: Monday–Friday during school hours
Pay: Competitive hourly rates

We are looking for experienced and reliable 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in home or school settings across the Daventry area.

You will work with children and young people who may require additional educational support, including pupils with SEND, SEMH needs, anxiety, or gaps in learning. Sessions will be tailored to each pupil’s individual needs and abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition sessions
  • Support pupils in subjects such as English and Maths
  • Adapt learning materials to suit individual needs
  • Build positive relationships and encourage confidence
  • Provide feedback on pupil progress

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of UK teaching or tutoring experience
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • Experience with SEND/SEMH pupils desirable
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
