Job description

Job Title: 1:1 Tutor – Home & School Setting
Location: Wellingborough
Hours: During School Hours
Pay: Competitive Rates (Depending on Experience)

We are currently recruiting dedicated and experienced 1:1 Tutors to support pupils across the Wellingborough area. Tuition sessions will take place either in pupils’ homes or within school settings during school hours.

This role is ideal for passionate education professionals who are committed to helping pupils build confidence, improve academically, and reach their full potential through personalised support.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and tailored 1:1 tuition sessions
  • Support pupils with academic progress and confidence-building
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning needs and abilities
  • Monitor and provide feedback on pupil progress
  • Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional learning environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deliver personalised and engaging lessons
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Relevant teaching or tutoring qualifications are desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
