Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Home/School Setting)
Location: Kettering
Hours: During school hours (flexible)
Pay: Competitive (dependent on experience and qualifications)

About the Role:
We are looking for passionate and committed 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in the Kettering area. This role involves delivering personalised tuition sessions either in the pupil’s home or within a school setting during school hours.

You will work closely with students who may need additional academic support, helping them build confidence, improve attainment, and re-engage with their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition tailored to individual needs
Plan and adapt lessons based on the student’s ability and progress
Monitor and report on student development
Create a positive and supportive learning environment
Liaise with parents, schools, and support staff

Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, or mentoring)
Strong knowledge of core subjects (English, Maths, or Science preferred)
Ability to motivate and inspire learners
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience supporting SEN or EHCP students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
