Teaching Personnel is pleased to partner with a forward-looking, inclusive secondary academy in Hampshire to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Teacher (subject to be agreed) on a full-time, permanent basis, starting from January 2026.
About the School
- The school is a co-educational academy for students aged 11 to 18.
- The academy is part of a large trust.
- The most recent inspection in September 2023 judged the academy to be “Good”.
- The school emphasises a broad and balanced curriculum across a wide range of subject areas — from core academic disciplines to arts, design, computing and beyond.
- The academy values inclusion and supports pupils of all abilities.
- With a modest pupil roll (around 550–580 pupils) and a relatively small school community, the school prides itself on fostering strong relationships, a calm learning atmosphere, and a sense of belonging for every student.
About the Role
You will:
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in your specialist subject in line with national curriculum expectations.
- Contribute to shaping and delivering a broad and balanced curriculum as part of a collaborative team, ensuring that all pupils—regardless of ability—are supported to achieve their potential.
- Monitor, assess and track pupil progress; provide timely feedback and adapt teaching to support individual needs.
- Participate in whole-school ethos activities — supporting pastoral care, attendance, inclusion and personal development consistent with the academy’s values.
- Where appropriate, contribute to extra-curricular opportunities, helping pupils to develop their talents and interests beyond lessons.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has strong subject knowledge and a commitment to delivering high-quality, inclusive education.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management, communication skills and flexibility to adapt to the needs of a diverse pupil body.
- Is enthusiastic about working as part of a close-knit, supportive school community.
- Shares the school’s commitment to nurturing confidence, motivation, self-awareness, perseverance and creativity in pupils.
What’s on Offer
- A permanent, full-time teaching post in a school rated “Good” by Ofsted and committed to continuous improvement.
- A supportive working environment within a smaller-sized school community, where relationships and individual attention matter.
- The opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a broad curriculum and help shape the educational and personal development of pupils from all backgrounds.
- Professional development potential, with access to trust-wide support and school-based growth opportunities under Lift Schools.
