This school has a culture of encouragement, understanding and has built a welcoming community feel which helps the students to full immerse themselves in learning. The school covers a range of special educational needs including autism, speech and language needs, and other medical, physical and sensory needs. The school also has a specialist provision for young people who are deaf.
The school has an ethos of developing high quality, challenging education which they can tailor and adapt to the level and learning needs of the students.
They are looking for a Teaching Assistant who will become a long term member of the community they have created and who is experienced, knowledgeable or eager to learn about the various different special educational needs of their students. Safeguarding is a high priority of the school and training will be given.
