Secondary Teachers Required

Due to the demands of our schools in Plymouth, Teaching Personnel have had a busy start to this academic year and we envisage this to continue and increase throughout the year.

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting newly qualified and qualified teachers to work on a day to day basis. If you would rather a long term- permanent position, register with Teaching Personnel so that you have the opportunity to be offered these positions.

Our schools request teachers to teach their specialist subject when teaching on a supply basis, with this in mind we are recruiting teachers with the following specialisms:

• Physical Education
• Science
• Mathematics
• English
• DT – Resistant Materials
• Art
• Humanities

The successful candidate will:

• Have a PGCE qualification with QTS
• Be an enthusiastic and confident individual and have a passion for your specialist subject
• Build strong rapport with students and staff and have an engaging and exciting approach to learning
• Be flexible, committed and reliable

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of GBP40, plus an annual subscription fee of GBP13 for the Update Service.
