Job description

Teaching Personnel are recruiting Teachers and Newly Qualified Teachers to support our schools on the outskirts of Plymouth for day to day and longer term-block booking cover. Register with Teaching Personnel to be offered opportunities of work in our partnership schools.

We are seeking teachers who live in areas such as Callington, Saltash, Tavistock and Ivybridge who do not wish to travel into the city of Plymouth but would like to teach nearer home.

The successful Teacher will need:

  • A PGCE qualification with QTS – Newly Qualified Teachers are encourages to apply
  • To be enthusiastic  about your specialist subject
  • Recent experience teaching in a secondary school
  • To follow each schools behaviour policy and have good behaviour management   
  • To be confident in the planning and preparation for when required on a longer term booking
