Do you have a passion to inspire children and young people?

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a SEND school in North Yorkshire to recruit an experienced science teacher to teach Key Stages 3 and 4. As a SEMH science teacher, you will be supporting children who often display challenging behaviour. Because of this, the candidate must have some experience working with children and young people with SEMH. You will be working with children and young people who display challenging behaviour such as:

  • Anxiety
  • Exclusion
  • Speech and language difficulties
  • A disengagement with the classroom and learning
  • Withdrawn attitudes
  • Frustrated, angry and aggressive tempers
  • Truancy

Teaching Personnel can offer teachers competitive pay rates of ÂŁ500-600 per week, however long term rates can be negotiated on your behalf. The role will be held until the end of August. As well as this, Teaching Personnel can provide you with access to unique CPD opportunities to increase your qualifications. Through this, Teaching Personnel can provide a range of training including; Team Teach, Introduction to Autism and Level 2 Safeguarding.
