Salary: GBP100 per day +

Teaching Personnel works in partnership with schools in the Southampton area who are looking to appoint cover teacher's on a flexible basis for when schools re open. The successful cover teacher needs to be a positive role model, keen to encourage confidence in students, motivating them to reach above and beyond their potential. 

We are looking for specialists in any subject area who are happy to take on cover in a range of subjects with planned work left by the permanent staff.

As a successful cover teacher, you will:

• Be confident in classroom management, delivering adaptive and responsive teaching
• Have the ability to think on your feet and adapt based on a change in timetable/ subject cover
• Encourage students to have fun whilst learning and to build confidence, present yourself as a passionate and engaging teacher
• Provide a positive environment for learning, developing powerful learners
• Supervise students in and out of class including in the hallways and cafeteria
• Ensure that all COVID procedures are adhered to
• Implement school policies, encouraging challenge through learning
• Assigning classwork and homework in line with regular lesson plans

Teaching Personnel are looking to work with Cover Teachers who are fully engaged in delivering the content provided by the school and who go above and beyond to ensure learners are still effectively progressing in their lesson.
