Secondary Cover Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum in the absence of the teacher.
• Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that supports students' needs and fosters academic and personal development.
• Contribute to the overall academic progress and personal development of students.
• Facilitate positive behaviour management strategies and maintain clear boundaries.
• Maintain accurate records and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and support students' well-being.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and appropriate teaching methods.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
• Ability to establish positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
