Science Teacher
Godalming

Are you a Science teacher looking for a challenging and stimulating role to start as soon as possible or even for the new academic year? (2019-2020)

Due to an open vacancy at our client school, Teaching Personnel are now looking to appoint an energetic Science Teacher to teach across the ability and age range from years 11-16.

  • Open vacancy commencing as soon as possible or for September 2019

  • Salary to reflect MPS/UPS (£23,720 - £39,406)

The successful teacher will be an enthusiastic and committed teacher with strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4. We are looking for a teacher who has excellent behaviour management and is able to form strong professional relationships with students, particularly those who have become disengaged in education. They will be committed to the highest levels of teaching and learning and will have an enthusiasm for raising student attainment from KS3 up to GCSE level. We welcome applications from Science teachers with specialisms in Chemistry, Biology and Physics.

Teaching Personnel have a long standing relationship with this School in Godalming. The school has an average of 100 pupils on roll. They cater for boys and girls with Autism and additional needs such as speech and langague communication needs or social, emotional and mental health needs. The school is set in ideally situated 56 acres of wooded grounds with ample space for recreational activities in the Surrey countryside therefore candidates that can drive are more ideal but the bus stop is about a 20 minute walk to the school. The School has an in-house team of qualified therapists offering Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Sensory Integration and has achieved an Autism accreditation.
