Part time Science Teacher required for large mixed comprehensive Secondary school Rawtenstall.
A mixed comprehensive Secondary school in Rawtenstall requires a Part time (0.6 timetable) Science teacher during the summer term. Due to an upcoming maternity leave within the Science department, the school seek to appoint a Science teacher on a part time temporary basis from April until the end of the academic year 2019/20.
The school are accepting applications from both experienced and newly qualified Science Teachers and wish to arrange interviews at the earliest convenience.
- Part time (0.6) temporary Science Teacher required for April 2020 start.
- Maternity cover, initially secured until the end of the academic year
- Pay in line with teaching scale point *Experience dependent
- Ofsted graded 'Good' Secondary school in Rawtenstall
- Great location, accessible via the M65 and M66/A56
It is essential that the successful Science Teacher has experience delivering a range of lessons to meet the needs of all learners to both Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four level. The school are willing to consider all science specialisms.
With plans of further expansion, there are a number of upcoming opportunities for aspiring middle leaders in education. The successful Science teacher will join a department of six Teachers and an experienced Lead Science Practitioner and will be expected to partake in departmental responsibilities of collaborative planning and marking
