Teaching Personnel are recruiting a Teacher of Science, preferably with a Chemistry specialism, to join one of our partner schools over in the Durham area. The role is to cover the absence of an established member of the department, meaning that the successful Teacher will be taking on GCSE classes across Key Stage 4, in addition to other Key Stage 3 classes. Whilst Key Stage 5 classes wont be on the timetable initially, if you can offer any Science subject to Key Stage 5 this could be arranged.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to take the next step in their teaching career in an Ofsted 'Outstanding' school on the outskirts of Durham City Centre. The school have a history of employing temporary staff for continuity, therefore there is potential for the role to become permanent.
