Science Teacher - Bolton

Science Teacher needed at Ofsted graded 'Good' school in Horwich to join them on their return from the spring half-term holidays teach all 3 Sciences to KS3 and GCSE level.

  • Full time position teaching KS3 and GSCE Science to a wide range of ability groups
  • Working at a large school in Horwich graded 'Good' by Ofsted
  • Get paid in line to teaching scale point £23,720 - £39,406 (MPS/UPS)
  • Employment for the remainder of the academic year with an opportunity for further employment

We are seeking a Science Teacher to join our client secondary school on a full-time basis on their return from the spring half-term holidays. The incoming Science Teacher must be capable of teaching all Sciences up to GCSE level and be able to commit to a long term, full time position.

The school are considering applications from Science teachers of all experience levels and will offer complete support to the incoming teacher to ensure that they are able to achieve excellent results at GCSE level.

If successful then you will be working within a large modern secondary school that was recently graded 'Good' by Ofsted. The school have excellent facilities throughout the Science department resulting in an excellent working environment for the incoming Science Teacher. There is a strong support structure installed throughout the school and the opportunity for a permanent position for the correct candidate.

The school has a sixth form on campus and is larger than the average high school with around 1800 pupils on roll. The school is located in Horwich and can easily be accessed via the M61 motorway. Public transport links are easily accessible via the surrounding areas of Wigan, Chorley, Preston, Bury and Salford.
