Position: Science Teacher.
Location: Preston.
Start date: ASAP.
Contract type: Full time, Monday-Friday, 8:30-3:30 (temp to perm).
Pay rate: £110 - £200 per day.
Requirements to be successful for the role:
- Have a degree/relevant qualification in Science.
- Experience supporting students with SEMH in a professional or personal experience.
- Able to implement behaviour strategies confidently.
- Emotional and physical resilience to meet the challenges and demands of the role.
Responsibilities for the role:
- Plan and deliver engaging theory and practical Science lessons.
- Build professional relationships with the children and young people.
- Play a crucial role in supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
- Provide guidance, encouragement, and personalised support to students facing challenges.
- Contribute to creating a nurturing and empowering environment that promotes the overall well-being of our students.
This provision for young people aged 11-16 years support students who have individual needs based on social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
