Job Title: Full-Time Science Teacher

Location: Luton

Organization: Teaching Personnel

Are you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher looking for a rewarding full-time position in Luton? Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Science Teacher to join our wonderful Partner Secondary School. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the academic success of students and make a positive impact on their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver Engaging Science Lessons: Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons that inspire and engage students, fostering a love for the subject.
  2. Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Science curriculum, ensuring alignment with national standards and educational best practices.
  3. Assessment and Feedback: Implement effective assessment strategies and provide constructive feedback to students, promoting continuous improvement and academic achievement.
  4. Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe and conducive space for learning.
  5. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices, participate in professional development, and contribute to the overall success of the Science department.
  6. Parental Engagement: Establish open and effective communication with parents, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns or queries.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related field.
  2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  3. Proven experience as a Science Teacher with a track record of successful student outcomes.
  4. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and innovative teaching methods.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
