We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our dynamic team at a thriving secondary school in the heart of Hartlepool. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to inspiring the next generation of scientists and fostering a love for learning.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A degree in a science-related subject (Physics, Biology, Chemistry or Combined Sciences)

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification

• A passion for science and a commitment to helping students succeed

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Experience teaching Key Stages 3 and 4 (desirable but not essential)

• A proactive and positive approach to teaching and student development

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality science lessons

• Create an inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking and academic progress

• Assess, monitor and report on students’ progress, ensuring support is tailored to individual needs

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative curriculum resources and teaching strategies

• Apply effective behaviour management techniques to maintain a positive classroom environment
