Science Teacher (Biology Specialism Preferred) – Tameside – September Start

Are you a dynamic Science teacher looking to inspire the next generation of scientists?

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a successful and well-respected secondary school in Tameside to recruit a qualified Science Teacher for the new academic year. The ideal candidate will have a Biology specialism, although applications from all Science specialists are welcome.

The school boasts a strong science department, modern laboratories, and high levels of student engagement.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Full-time position teaching KS3 and KS4 Science

  • Delivering engaging and practical lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Working closely with the Head of Department and wider team

  • Creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science or related subject

  • Biology specialism desirable but not essential

  • Confident classroom practitioner with a track record of improving student outcomes

  • A commitment to inclusive teaching and differentiated learning

Offer Includes:

  • Pay between £155 - £220 per day

  • Supportive senior leadership and career development opportunities

  • Long-term role with the option to become permanent

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
