Teacher of Science (Biology)
Manchester

Teaching Personnel are looking for Teacher of Science who will relish the challenge of working in a popular and over subscribed secondary school located in the heart of the city centre. They will share the vision for delivering a broad curriculum which allows all students to flourish. We are looking for Teacher of Science who will be able to deliver KS3, GCSE and A Level. Science and will offer Biology as a main specialism.

  • Full time role delivering Science across KS3, GCSE and A Level with a Biology specialism
  • Commencing January 2020 and running throughout the remainder of the academic year
  • Introduction a highly reputable and over subscribed school with over 100 pupils on roll
  • Salary to reflect MPS/UPS (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490) based on experience and pay scale
  • Ongoing CPD and opportunities to develop your professional practice with Teaching Personnel

The successful teacher will teach across the full range of ability with a specialism in Biology, including GCSE and A Level. They will participate in the planning, development and implementation of schemes of work. The successful Science teacher will join a dedicated and well-resourced department and will take an active part in the whole school community. They will receive excellent support for their own professional development and will join an academically successful and highly reputable school in Manchester. We welcome applications from NQT’s and experienced teachers looking for an exciting new challenge.

Our client school is large successful and over subscribed secondary school located in central Manchester. The school is just a short drive from the city centre and is easily accessible via public transport links. The school has over 1000 pupils on roll from a range of abilities, ethnicities and backgrounds. They recently received a positive Ofsted report that judged the school to be good in all areas including the quality of teaching and behaviour of pupils. The school building has excellent facilities throughout which plays an active role in providing the highest quality of education to all students.
