Science Supply Teacher

Science Teachers required in Portsmouth (and the surrounding areas) for Supply and Long Term positions

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Science Teacher for days to day supply work or long term positions in secondary schools across Portsmouth. There is a strong demand for Science Teachers in the area and you would have the freedom to chose the days in which you are available for work.

Day to day supply would offer you the opportunity to have a flexible working week, choosing the days in which you would like to work within a school. It will give you great exposure to schools in your area and allow you to find the right school for yourself. Or perhaps you would enjoy the variety of teaching within different school environments without the pressure of planning or after school responsibilities.

Person Specification, you should be/have:

• Fully Qualified Science Teacher, with UK QTS or Overseas equivalent
• Able to teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics up to KS4, and your Specialism to KS5
• Proven track record of raising attainment
• Able to inspire colleagues and students alike
• Passionate about the Sciences, and the role they have in Modern Society
• Innovative, and a creative problem solver
• Should be familiar with best practise in Science
• Able to enthuse and support attainment in Students, from a variety of backgrounds and at all ability levels
