School Swimming Lifegaurd Wanted
Location: Swansea
Position Type: Full-Time, 5 days per week untill July 2026
Start Date: 1st Septemeber 2025
Salary: £89.38
Are you passionate about swimming and love working with children? We’re looking for a Swimming Lifegaurd who is willing to do Teachng Assistant work within schools too to join our school team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring swimmers
- Enforcing rules
- Preventing accidents
- Responding to emergencies
- Educating swimmers
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed at all times
- Work collaboratively with school staff and parents to support student development.
Requirements:
- Lifegaurd qualification (or equivalent)
- Patience, energy, and excellent communication skills
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs, is desirable but not essential.
- A caring and patient approach with the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
- A commitment to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed and achieve their best.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent) are preferred but not essential.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
