School Receptionist – Birmingham – September 2025 Start – Temp to Perm
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded school located near central Birmingham for a professional and organized School Receptionist to join their team from September 2025. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering a great chance to become a valued part of the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Provide a welcoming and efficient front-of-house service to visitors, parents, and staff
-
Manage telephone calls, emails, and general enquiries
-
Maintain accurate records and data entry using SIMS or a similar school management system
-
Support daily administrative tasks as required to ensure smooth school operations
Essential Requirements:
-
Proven experience working with SIMS or a comparable school information management system
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
-
Friendly and professional manner, able to handle sensitive information discreetly
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
