This role is one of a kind and will give you a variety of tasks to perform, keeping the job interesting and fun. The school are looking for someone who is committed to the development of children with special needs. Ideally you will have experience of supporting children with autism, or those with other communication difficulties. However the school is also interested in interviewing candidates who may not have experience, but have a 'get stuck in' attitude and are willing to learn and develop quickly.

This is a large school and has an extremely supportive staff team. You will be warmly welcomed and supported by your colleagues. The school has extensive grounds and a forest school, sensory circuits, horse riding, a steel band and several outdoor learning/play spaces.

If you perform successfully as an agency worker, the school will invite you to apply for a permanent position with them, and Teaching Personnel will support you if you decide to apply.
