Teaching Personnel are looking for two Planning, preparation and Assessment (PPA) KS1/KS2 Cover Teachers needed for 3 days a week in Hammersmith & Fulham

  • On-going CPD training
  • Start Date Oct 31st
  • Competitive pay rates - £150 per day

You will be working in a two form entry community school based in Hammersmith where children, staff, parents and the community are welcome and encouraged to contribute to the life of the school. The school are committed to providing the best for each and every child.

The school are seeking dedicated PPA Cover Teachers to deliver their pre-planned lessons in an enthusiastic and motivating manner. You will often be providing release time for the school's class teachers or leadership staff.

Position 1 – KS1 Religious Education and Spanish

1. One day in year 1

2. One day in year 2

3. The third day is split with ½ a day in the other year 1 and ½ a day with other year 2 class

Position 2 – KS2 Religious Education and French

1. One day in year 3

2. One day in year 4

3. The third day is split with ½ a day in the other year 3 and ½ a day with year 6 class

Duties:

• Teaching Spanish/French and RE to the above year groups

• Planning from the schemes the school already has (which are heavily resourced)

• Implementing lessons left by the class teacher

• General classroom maintenance and handover notes

• Raising standards and supporting wherever needed

You must:

• Be a fully qualified Primary School Teacher with a wealth of experience teaching Key Stage 1

• Hold a teaching qualification equivalent to a PGCE

• Be comfortable in your ability teaching either Spanish or French as well as Religious Education

• Have a relevant visa allowing you to undertake work in the UK

• Be able to provide two current references
