A 2-form entry primary in Fulham, London is searching for a talented Graduate Teaching Assistant to become a key member of their school community from September 2017!

Job Specification

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic graduate who has previous experience working in a school and a strong academic record with a 2:2 or above in their chosen discipline. The Headteacher wants to recruit a graduate with the desire to achieve and contribute to the positive atmosphere the school has achieved. Ideally you will want to get involved in extra-curricular activities and inspire to learn. You must act as a positive role model and show a genuine passion for primary education.

About the Graduate Teaching Assistant Role

In this Graduate Teaching Assistant post you will be supporting the learning of a curious Reception class of 30 children. You will have access to multiple sensory rooms and start learning the fundamental teaching techniques with training provided by the school on a weekly basis. You will be providing additional support in the schools’ extra-curricular activities which are available in academic, sporting and artistic areas. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be developing your future teaching acumen by gaining insight into lesson planning, setting academic learning goals and leading lessons.

It encourages interactive and inclusive learning, with its own soft play area and sensory room. It’s a popular choice for parents in the local community and holds an Ofsted-approved 'Good' rating.
