Reception Teacher Part Time

Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a school located in the S63 post code of South Yorkshire who is seeking to appoint a part time Reception Teacher to work two days a week as part of a job share in their "good rated EYFS provision". The days are flexible and negotiable for the right Reception Teacher.

The right individual will be expected to work alongside another part time teacher who has returned from maternity leave to offer the best possible practice for the schools Reception children; adopting an energetic and committed attitude to teaching. The successful candidate would be required to start after the Easter holidays until December 2019. There is also the potential for the cover to be extended for the right person, leading to a permanent contract.

The overall feedback from staff currently at the school is good, with staff feeling valued and that their needs are met by the senior leadership team. The school is located a short distance away from the local train station in Bolton-upon-Dearne with on site parking for those who wish to travel by car.

The right Teacher;

  • Would have a positive and outgoing approach to teaching
  • Have a proven track record of building strong relations with both staff and students
  • Up to date knowledge of current assessments in Early Years
  • Knowledge of Phonics interventions
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Access to own mode of transport or willing to travel via public transport

  • Daily rate of pay up to £179.00, depending on your previous experience
