Reception teacher -Bury

Reception Teacher required in September till the end of the academic year In Prestwich, Bury (M25).

A lovely primary school in the heart of the local community in Prestwich, Bury (M26) is looking for a Reception teacher to start in September and will carry on until the end of the academic year due to the EYFS department expanding. There is a possibility of a permanent school contract for the successful candidate.

The primary school is dedicated to delivering high quality teaching and learning whilst at the same time providing rich and truly enjoyable learning experiences for their community of children.

The Head teacher is looking for an experienced reception teacher who can hit the ground running within the classroom. As this role will be until the end of the academic year, the Head teacher wants a successful candidate who will through themselves into the whole school like and will embrace and promote the schools family and community ethos. The role will involve full time teaching of the classroom, planning and marking all lessons and evaluating pupil's progress. In return, the school can offer you teaching assistants to support you in the classroom and PPA time to plan lessons.

The Head teach of this Bury primary school is looking for a reception teacher who is:

  • Enthusiastic and is committed to high standards and has high expectations of behaviour and raising pupil attainment
  • Experienced in working in an EYFS classroom setting
  • Experienced in using different phonics schemes
  • Experience working with children with EAL

NQT's and fully qualified teachers are encouraged to apply for this role.

This Prestwich based primary school has a large number of pupils in the classroom with English as an additional language so experience working with pupils with speech and language needs is essential.
