Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a friendly, passionate and eager Teaching Assistant to take on a part time role within one of our schools, located in Halton, to start in September 2019, within their Early Years department (Nursery/Reception), 5 mornings per week
The school's most recent Ofsted inspection highlights its very effective safeguarding environment and outstanding communication between teachers, pupils and parents/carers.
Their enthusiastic staff and management are looking to appoint an additional member to join their team due to the expansion of the school. You will be working as a 1:1 teaching assistant, as well as providing occasional full classroom and small groups support to Children in their Nursery and Reception classes.
Candidates with Early Years related qualifications and experience will have a stronger chance of being short-listed, however the school has confirmed they will also consider applications from candidates with transferable skills. In that case, the ideal candidate must have experience within the education sector in general and/or child care, OR be a recent graduate in the following : Sports, English, Maths, Drama, Arts or Psychology.
Special Educational Needs experience and any other related/additional qualifications are beneficial but not necessary. The school are looking for someone with a good academic background (minimum of GCSEs) and motivation to raise attainment. You must relate to children on an individual level as well as creating a fun and stimulating environment and maintaining high standards of education.
