RE Teacher - Sunderland

Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced RE specialist to join the Humanities department of a 'Good' secondary school based in Sunderland.

With over 1000 students enrolled, the school have a track record for providing consistently producing excellent exam results. Due to this, the school have indicated that they require a teacher with a strong commitment towards helping students succeed in their studies, often going the extra mile to provide intervention sessions where necessary.

This role entails:

  • Teaching RE across KS3-5
  • Planning, preparing and marking resources, tracking students' progress
  • Providing small group intervention sessions where necessary to ensure that students obtain a high standard across all their Humanities subjects
  • Attending departmental meetings and CPD sessions to develop teaching practice
